Matt Schutz’s play, The Second First Kiss, which was written and performed as part of Playground-CH’s first season, was adapted into a short film and has been making the festival circuits! On Saturday, October 19, from 1pm to 3pm CT, Tanuja Devi Jagernauth will lead an online, two-hour interactive introduction to playwriting, PLAYWRITING TO BREAK CYCLES OF OPPRESSION, sharing a brief introduction to caste oppression and colonialism, support participants to explore the ways in which caste and colonialism show up in their daily lives, and share writing activities to help build a short play based on these insights.
