Skylar Frishman is very excited to announce they have accepted a full time entertainer position at Walt Disney World, starting in mid June! They are moving to Florida very soon, and will miss the Playground Chicago community so much! It has been a wonderful few years, and hopefully in the future they will return to Playground again.

Matt Schutz will have his short play, In the Mood, produced as part of the Impostors Theatre Co.’s annual Footholds Vol. 6 Festival. A collection of short plays around a central theme, Footholds brings together the community in new and exciting ways. Runs June 6 – 21 at the Den Theatre. He is also part of PrideArts’ Queery New Works Festival. Six playwrights will present scenes from plays workshopped over the past several weeks. Matt’s play, windows, follows a former soccer player who has broken her leg and has to move in with her girlfriend long before they planned to live together. Runs one night only, Friday, June 20.

Shariba Rivers is opening two shows at American Players Theatre in Spring Green Wisconsin: A Midsummer Night’s Dream, where she will be playing one of the fairies, and The Death of Chuck Brown, a new play, where she is originating the role of Sparkle. Click here for tickets

Anne Brady’s 10-minute play Pressed will be part of Drama Dock Theatre’s New Short Works, Vol. 1, running May 29-June 1.
