TAYLOR MERCADO OWEN, Directing Apprentice,  is starring in the world premiere production of KUBRICKIAN by Zack Peercy at The Factory Theater in Roger’s Park. Opening February 20th and now extended through March 28th! Trapped in a white space, three men who should be focused on escape or explanation can’t seem to stop talking about acclaimed film director Stanley Kubrick. This trippy existential show is a haunting and hilarious look at masculinity, creativity, and capitalism. (Rated PG-13). TICKETS. @taylormarketowen

JAY REHAK’s play, “Dr. Jay’s Magic Spray,” has been selected as one of the five winning works for the Argonaut Studio One-Act Play Festival. The festival will take place Friday, May 22, Saturday May 23 and Sunday May 24 at Twin Oaks Theatre in Freeport, NY as a fundraiser for the women owned film and theater collective. – The 3 character, ten minute comedy tells the story of a young couple getting more than they bargain for when they make fun of a carnival barker for selling a magic spray which forces people to speak the truth. TANUJA DEVI JAGERNAUTH’s Rupture/Repair runs on Fridays at 7 and Saturdays at 2 until March 7th! How can lessons learned from our ruptured relationships help us build the next world? ALEX KINGSLEY’s short play “An Enchilada at the End of Everything” will be receiving a staged reading with New Wave Theatre Company as part of their Bad Draft Reading Series. BETSY DUDAK’s 10 minute play, DELAYED CONFESSIONS, will be part of Ghostlight Theatre Ensemble’s 10 minute play festival in March, 2026. It will be held in Brentwood, CA on March 27-29. TICKETS.

KATHERINE SWAN’s play The Lock was published in The Best Ten-Minute Plays, 2025 by Smith and Kraus. A monologue from her play Act V, which imagines a fifth act of Anton Chekov’s The Cherry Orchard, and which was developed at A Red Orchid Theatre, was published in The Best Women’s Stage Monologues 2025, also by publisher Smith and Kraus.
