Richard Lyons Conlon‘s stage-combat sci-fi comedy “MFA* (or *Monster of Fine Arts)”, will have a virtual reading by the Ubiquitous Players on Saturday, January 7 at 2:00CST. Playwright and actor John N. Frank is branching out to singing this January as a contestant in the Skokie Idol competition at Skokie Theater. Frank has been taking voice lessons in 2022 so he could begin auditioning for musicals in addition to dramatic plays. “I’ve been getting a lot of rejection as a playwright and an actor, figured I should add singer to the list and become a triple threat,” Frank jokes.
