Dana Hall is delighted to announce that her play, One Night in September, has earned a place as a Full-Length Finalist in the 2024 Lanford Wilson New American Play Festival. Hall takes particular pride in creating a play that raises awareness about college campus assaults and underscores the crucial importance of increased advocacy for survivors. Daniel Arzola is taking over the Little Studio space in the Fine Arts Building for a week. March 22nd will be a new play reading, March 24th will be a musical presentation, and March 27th will be a one night performance of their one person show.

Manny Buckley is starring in the two person play, The Reclamation of Madison Hemings at American Blues Theater. Tickets are available here.

Spencer Ryan Diedrick will be acting as dramaturg on Shattered Globe Theatre’s production of Jump, by Charly Evon Simpson, directed by AmBer Montgomery. This magical, heartbreaking tale of connection and endurance runs April 19th to June 1st at Theatre Wit. Tickets are available here.

Juliana Liscio is playing Margot Frank in The Young People’s Theatre of Chicago’s production of The Diary of Anne Frank, directed by Randy White and newly adapted for younger audiences by Wendy Kessleman. Tickets are available here.

Alka Nayyar is at the Lift Entry Voice Festival at American Stage Theatre in St. Petersburg, FL – will do a staged reading of The Goddess at the Lucky Lady Motel, by Nimisha Ladva. More info here.

Leanna Oliveira is directing a short play as part of Director’s Haven at Haven Theatre Chicago. Check out her work along with two other shows directed by some of Chicago’s early career directors! Tickets are available here.

Emma Rund‘s play, Personal Library, is receiving a staged reading with Ego Death Theatre Collective in April. Performances are April 19 & 20 at 7:30 p.m and April 21 at 4:00 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church. More information and how to get tickets are available here.
